I have many fond memories of growing up with the Hussey family...camping, swimming and playing cards at the kitchen table are just a few! They were our second family on cigarette hill! The one memory that stands out the most of just Mr. Hussey and I is him taking me to get my driver's license. He took time out of his morning to take me to Canandaigua. He had me practice my k turn and parallel parking before the test. I passed and he couldn't have been more proud of me! He was always my favorite!

I had the pleasure to know Paul over the past 10 years. It is amazing to see how God connects lives. Not sure of all the details but our two “little dots” were connected and the journey began. Paul was attending church and quickly started helping when we went to 2 services. He would show up early every Sunday in uniform, suit and tie. His warm personality and smile greeted visitors. As time went forward Paul began serving more. Serving at the food pantry with deliveries. He became part of building and grounds maintenance team. He was part of the “Three amigos.” He did however refuse to clean windows. He would help mow the lawn on the zero turn. We always told him, don’t get stuck. Well that didn’t work. When Covid hit he was part of the team that served with the drive through food pantry. Serving at times 300 families with extra food. Through rain, snow and sunshine he was always ready to help. Well loved by the team. Enjoyed the fishing stories especially for someone who did not eat any fish. Thankful for all the memories that will be cherished. I must believe Paul is in good company now, sharing some fish stories with a bunch of fisherman in heaven.
