My family's relationship with Hilda is a novel in and of itself but I met her when I was in jr. high when she and some others from the young adult group from Waterloo Baptist took our youth group to Willard, to go bowling with them. She was always a blessing to our family. Up until just before covid, I hadn't seen her in several years but on a visit to Waterloo Anita and I stopped at Mac's Drive In for a bite to eat. When we sat down I glanced at the table next to me and saw a lady I knew but had to search my brain for her name. All of a sudden it came to me and I said, "Hilda!" and she laughed and said, " I could see you brain scrambling! " We had a good visit as we ate. I'm glad we had that time...
