How do you start with one memory from the thousands that you can pull from over the years that I had the pleasure of knowing Dallyn Jenkins. About 20 years ago or so, I decided to get involved in rescue. A friend of mine, Eileen, who was already involved, said we really need to help out the local shelter. So off we went and introduced ourselves to Dallyn. That day was the beginning of a journey that led to volunteering at events to raise money, assisting out adoption events, helping with transporting of dogs and eventually a member of the Beverly's Animal Shelter board. Through it all, Dallyn was at the helm. Dallyn was the shelter. Her vision, her drive, and her love for animals is what kept that shelter going. To say she will be missed......Dallyn thank you for being my friend, my confidant and my partner in saving the lives of the many animals that you opened the shelter to. From Katrina to today and beyond, your vision will continue. That I have no doubt. Love you!
