Obituary of Shawn Michael Clark

WATERLOO – Shawn M. Clark, 50, passed away unexpectedly Thursday (August 24, 2023) at his home. In keeping with the wishes of the family, there will be no calling hours. A private graveside service will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Waterloo, NY. A Celebration of Life will be 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday (September 10) at Ciccino's, 22 E. Main St., Waterloo, NY. Shawn was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hunter's Hope, P.O. Box 643, Orchard Park, NY, 14127. Shawn was born February 25, 1973, in Venice, FL. He was a 1991 graduate of Waterloo Central High School. Shawn was employed with Elderlee, Inc. from 1992 to 2019. Most recently he was employed with Cut Throat Tree Service. He is survived by his siblings Michelle (Brian) Maney of Oaks Corners, NY and Sherry (Brian) Sanderson of Walworth, NY; great-aunt June Pontius of Waterloo, NY; aunts and uncles Mary Lawthers of Geneva, NY, Robert (Dottie) Birch of Charlotte, NC, James (Mary Kay) Birch of Farmington, NY, and Janet (Clark Besley) Krell of Auburn, NY; many cousins, a niece, nephews; longtime friend Susan White of Waterloo, NY.
