Obituary of Russell Kevin Logue

WATERLOO – Russell K. Logue, 73, passed away peacefully Tuesday (April 25, 2023) at his home with loving family by his side. Family and friends may call from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday (April 30) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home, Waterloo, NY. The memorial service will immediately follow at 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Rev. Jerry Graziano, pastor of Finger Lakes Christian Fellowship, will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to The Open Door Rescue Mission, 156 Plymouth Ave., #1834, Rochester, NY, 14608. Russ was born September 7, 1949, in Geneva, NY, the son of James M. and Sarah "Sadie" L. Parker Logue. He was a 1967 graduate from Geneva High School. He served in the U.S. Navy. Russ was a general contractor for most of his life. He was a longtime member of the Finger Lakes Family Moose Lodge 823. He is survived by his children Sheila Hedworth of Dundee, FL, Shaun (Marissa) Logue of Fairport, NY, Darel J. Logue of Geneva, NY and Andrew (Lyndsey) Logue of Baldwinsville, NY; six grandchildren; siblings Randall "Randy" of Auburn, NY, Roselyn "Kay" (Ronald) Rizzo of Weedsport, NY, Rebecca "Becky" (David) Achilles of Geneva, NY, Rochelle "Rocky" Logue of Geneva, NY and Renee (Mark) Hardin of Prescott, AZ; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
