Obituary of Marilyn Murdock

Waterloo - Marilyn Louise Murdock, 64, of Waterloo, died (August 20, 2013) in hospice at her sister's and brother-in-law's home, Barbara and Robert Robinson. In keeping with Marilyn's wishes there will be no calling hours. The memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday (Aug. 26) at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Rev. Thomas Mull, pastor of Our Lady of Peace Parish, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Waterloo. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Pathway Home, P.O. Box 516, Seneca Falls, New York 13148. Marilyn was born Feb. 21, 1949 in Waterloo, the daughter of Francis "Bob" and Elinora Jane Weber Murdock. She was a 1967 graduate of Waterloo Central High School and a 1970 graduate of Willard School of Nursing. Marilyn then was employed for two years with Willard Psychiatric Hospital and later was employed with Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic, until her retirement in the late 1990's. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She is survived by her father, Francis "Bob" of Waterloo; sisters, Barbara (Robert) Robinson, Deborah (David) Patrick and Marylou Murdock all of Waterloo; niece, Stacey (Mike Bajdas) Patrick; nephews, Robert (Aubrie) Patrick and Kevin (Christina SanPitero) Patrick; great-nieces, Kendra Patrick and Krystal Robinson; and great-nephew, Colton Patrick; aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her faithful dog Doc.
