Obituary of Stephen George Clary

WATERLOO – Stephen G. Clary, 67, of Waterloo, NY, died unexpectedly Wednesday (July 20, 2022) at his home. In keeping with the wishes of the family, there will be no calling hours or services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beverly's Animal Shelter, 50 E. River St., Waterloo, NY, 13165. Steve was born January 26, 1955, in Waterloo, NY, the son of George and Claire Nyeback Clary. He was a graduate of Waterloo Central High School. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Air Force from 1973 to 1977. Steve then served in the Geneva Army National Guard, serving in the guard for many years. Steve worked as a mechanic for area businesses. He is survived by his wife Desiree; daughters Valerie Clary and Stephanie (Cory) Choate; step-children Jonathan (Tammylyn) Cook and Jenelle (Harold) Rivera; grandchildren Clover, Paisley and Cy Choate; step-grandchildren Lj and Tavin Cook, Kyan Dickey, and Aviana Rivera; his faithful canine companion, Alex.
