I met Dan when we both where 16 and lived in Crest California. He talked me into joining the local volunteer fire department (Crest Fire Department). Over the next few years we became best friends and did everything together. We both joined CDF now called Cal Fire in 1985. We both did a few seasons together and Dan decided to find greener pastures else where. If it was not for Dan talking me into joining the Fire Department all those years ago, I would not be retired today from Cal Fire after a very successful 36 year career. Dan I shall miss you my friend, and I thank you for my career and your friendship and brother will shall ride tail board again someday in heaven. Rest easy my brother!!!
