I met Esther & John when I was 17 & dating their niece. This was 58 years ago & we've remained best friends all that time. He helped me get a job at Sylvania & I helped him get a job at Dolomite. After marrying the niece we did about everything together including vacations. He was my best man in two of my weddings. Even after I moved away they always came south to visit & I always made it a point to visit them. John was extremely smart & could design & fabricate about anything. Even built his own stock car. I'll miss him telling me what he'd accomplish the previous week & telling him the same. It was a Sunday night ritual. Praise God he's no longer suffering & when I see him again we'll catch up on all the things in heaven he's repaired. Till then my friend.
