Obituary of Diane Maynard

Waterloo - Diane Elaine "Dee Lindsay" Maynard, 60, of Waterloo, died Monday (September 3, 2012) at home, after a long battle with cancer.
Friends may call from 2 - 4 p.m. on Saturday (Sept. 8) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo. The service will be 4:00 p.m. on Saturday (Sept. 8) at the funeral home.
Rev. Sarah West, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Waterloo, will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to organization of one's choice.
Diane was born February 24, 1952 in Geneva, the daughter of Harry A. and Janet Knapp Lindsay. She was a graduate of Jefferson High School in Rochester. She owned and operated Maynard's Variety Shop in Waterloo. Diane was a member of the Finger Lakes NY Chapter 41, Moose Lodge.
She is survived by two daughters: Angel (Patrick, III) Lyons of Waterloo and Bobbi Jo (Bert, III) VanHouten of Clyde; four grandchildren: Patrick H., IV, and Matthew N. Lyons, David and Joseph VanHouten; two sisters: Betty (James F., Sr.) Wessig and Renee (Paul) Hennigan, both of Waterloo; one sister-in-law: Bonnie Lindsay of Geneva and many nieces and nephews; also special friend and companion Patrick H.Lyons Jr.
She was predeceased by three brothers: Harry A., Robert, Sr., and Gayle Lindsay; two sisters: Elsie Kerfien, Mary Ann Degaugh.
