Varick/Geneva- Grace Magavero Saito, 89, of Varick, formerly of Waterloo, died Wednesday (August 22, 2018) at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday (Aug. 27) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo, NY. The funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home. Rev. Russell Willemsen, pastor of Flint Creek Church of God, Stanley, NY, will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Waterloo, NY. Grace was born Sept. 10, 1928, in Pittston, PA, the daughter of Felix and Margaret Barbara Magavero. She was a longtime resident of the Finger Lakes area. She retired from Greenwood Foods. Grace attended Flint Creek Church of God. She is survived by son, Louis (Fabiola) Saito of Wallace, NC; daughter, Margaret (Robert) Copp of Geneva, NY; eleven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Grace was predeceased by her husband, Stanley R. Saito; son, Felix S. Saito, daughter, Lena Penner, brother, Charles Magavero, and sister, Laura Smink.
