I first knew Mrs. Gray as the main office Secretary at Waterloo HS. I volunteered to sit at her desk during my study hall and her lunch time. I enjoyed answering the phones, taking messages and greeting visitors. Mrs. Gray was happy with my performance and we got to know each other well. I enjoyed doodling and would leave her pretty pictures or funny cartoons. She always had a great sense of humor! We later found out that we had mutual family members and friends. I worked at Fay's Drugs with her son, Steve, who is a very dear friend of my brother-in-law. We enjoyed catching up over the past years when running into each other at the grocery store. Barb was always cheerful and energetic. She would share her joy with the birth af each grandchild. She thoroughly enjoyed her family and friends. I realize now that Barb Gray has always been an inspiration to me as a wife and mother. I will remember her with much love.
