Dear Carol and family,
I was deeply saddened to read about Claire's passing. My heart goes out to your family.
Immediately, I thought of Claire's kindness and wonderful leadership as my principal at RCS. I remember the feeling of community he fostered when Claire and Carol treated the faculty to those delicious meals and special treats.
Claire was there for me through my first few years of teaching with words of encouragement and advice. I still remember his smiling face peaking in my classroom door with a friendly, "How is everything going?" His guidance was instrumental in shaping my development as a teacher. For that I am truly blessed and grateful.
Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
