I would like to express my deepest sympathies to the Waterloo fire department and the friends and family members of Mason I took a couple classes with him and you remember him well. I'm at a loss for words to express my deepest sympathies for the loss of such a great young man. We had the pleasure of knowing Mason since he was very young and very much enjoyed watching him grow up. Baseball was my favorite place to see Mason. When he was playing, he was carefree and almost always having fun. He was a force to be reckoned with during his short stay on Earth and his presence will be missed. Our most heartfult love to each of you grieving for Mason's loss. May Mason and you all find peace.

Bert, I so very much wish I did not have to write on this page. I didn't know Mason but I know you, and I know how much pain you must be in.
