Obituary of Richard Ernest Verbridge

Richard E. Verbridge Phelps – Richard E. Verbridge, 91, of Vienna Gardens, died Sunday (January 7, 2018). At Richard's request there will be no calling hours or service. Richard was born June 23, 1926, in Newark, NY, the son of George and Margaret Deluce Verbridge. He was a 1944 graduate of Clifton Springs High School. He was employed at Hemdale Farms in Seneca Castle for 45 years. He is survived by son, David Verbridge; granddaughter, Danielle (LeRoy) Shorty; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Roger and Ronald Verbridge; sisters, Virginia Lannon and Shirley Gerlock; daughter-in-law, Linda Verbridge; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by wife, Hazel Verbridge in 1989; son, Daniel Verbridge; sisters, Betty Craig and Dorothy Bowe. Condolences for the family may be sent to www.coegenungfuneralhome.com
