TYRE/SENECA FALLS – Ray W. Garrett, Jr., 84, died Tuesday (November 14, 2017) at Rochester General Hospital. In keeping with Ray's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo, N.Y. Ray was born May 26, 1933, in Junius, N.Y., the son of Ray W., Sr. and Carolyn Lundy Garrett. He was employed for many years as a millwright for various companies, retiring from Boulder Construction in Webster, N.Y. Ray was an avid sportsman enjoying hunting and fishing. He was a member of the NRA. Ray was a hunting dog enthusiast. He was a member of the Hector Grazing Association Cattle Round Up Cowboy. He was also a member of the Seckatary Hawkins Club. Surviving are his sons Michael Garrett of Odessa, N.Y., Larry (Catherine) Garrett of Van Etten, N.Y., Donald (Diane) Garrett of Seneca Falls, N.Y., and Adam (Kimberly) Garrett of Watkins Glen, N.Y.; daughter, Bonnie (Charles "Randy") Schulkers of Powhatan, Va.;11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; brothers Paul Garrett of Junius, N.Y. and Howard (Gladys) Garrett of Clyde, N.Y.; sisters Lois Rehm and Helen (Robert) Case both of Citrus Heights, Calif., Iva Erdle of Rochester, N.Y. and Linda (John)Worden of Waterloo, N.Y.; many nieces and nephews. Ray was predeceased by his wife, Alice "Judy" Garrett; son, Ray W. Garrett, III; brother, Ralph Garrett, Myron Garrett, and Charles Garrett; sisters Mary Garrett and Mildred Leverty.
