Your Mom & your Dad were so very special. My Mom and brother and I are talking of the trip when your Mom called to invite my mother to ride with her up to visit family. That was your Mother!!! So generous and helpful to so many. She made the world a better place for sure.

Bea and Al were good friends of my parents, Hannah and Willard (Stoney) Stone. Bea was a lovely person. I wish I lived nearer and could attend her memorial service.

When I was a newspaper reporter, Aunt Bea was one of my go-to persons for questions of history. I promised her that I would help her realize a goal by creating a walking tour of the village when I retired, and I am proud to say I kept that promise. She and John Genung were the main sources of information for the tour, which is available to the public in brochure form at the village office. I am honored that she used the brochure when she gave tours of the village. Generations will continue to learn and enjoy the history of Waterloo, thanks to her inspiration. We will forever remember her gentle ways, great sense of humor and kind smile. We will dearly miss Aunt Bea!
