Obituary of David P. Andrews

Geneva – David P. Andrews, 67, of 2509 Carter Rd., Apt. C, died Thursday (February 23, 2017) at Geneva General Hospital, with his family by his side. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday (Feb. 27) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo, NY. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday (Feb. 28) at the funeral home. Rev. Adams, rector of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, will officiate. Spring burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo, NY. Dave was a former employee at Seneca Army Depot in Romulus, NY. He owned and operated Dave's Cleaning Service in Waterloo, NY. He also worked at Soapy's Laundry in Geneva, NY. He retired from Colonial Laundromat in Geneva, NY. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Bonnie; daughters, Crystal S. Gould of Waterloo, NY, Charity (Joseph) Breese of Geneva, NY and Paula (Steven Halladay) Andrews of Fayette, NY; fifteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; brothers, Ronald (Joyce) Andrews and Nelsen Andrews both of Waterloo, NY; sister, April (Mike) VanDuesen of Canandaigua, NY; sister-in-law, Carol Andrews of Mantua, OH; many nieces and nephews. Dave was predeceased by sons, David P. Andrews, Jr. and Charles A. Andrews; son-in-law, James Gould; brothers, Arthur and John Andrews; and sisters, Mabel Bishop, Beth Backus, Hazel Garrett and Lylea Randall.
