Obituary of Beverly June Nichols

Waterloo – Beverly J. Nichols, 86, died Wednesday (February 8, 2017) at Huntington Living Center in Waterloo, NY. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday (Feb. 13) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home. The funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home. Roderick E. Coe will be the celebrant. Spring burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo, NY. Bev was born Nov. 16, 1930, in Montour Falls, NY, the daughter of Roy M. and Meredith B. Vosbourgh Wheeler. She was employed for 37 years with Sylvania in Seneca Falls, until the plant closed. Bev, then became employed at Wegmans in Geneva, working for 15 ½ years. She is survived by her husband, Eugene D. Nichols, Sr.; son, Dean (Bobbie) Chilson of Waterloo, NY; daughter, Paula Chilson of Seabrook, NH and Darlene (Raymond) VanZile of Tampa, FL; stepson, Eugene (Pat) Nichols, Jr. of Lock Port, NY; stepdaughter, Catherine Harmke of VA; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, ten great-great grandchildren; brothers, Roy "Keith" (Wendy) Wheeler of Wooster, MA and Lyle (Madeline) Wheeler of Hazel, KY; sisters, Marlene (Ralph) Maston of Calif., Vaughn (Raymond) Davis of Waterloo, NY, Sharon (Dale) Telford of TX, Delores Smith of Waterloo, NY; many nieces and nephews.
