Obituary of Patricia Cecelia Billings

Varick/Waterloo – Patricia C. Billings, 92, formerly of Varick, died Thursday (December 15, 2016) at Seneca Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. In keeping with the wishes of the family there will be no calling hours or service. Burial will be in Grace Willowdale Cemetery, at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kappa Alpha Society Endowed Scholarship in memory of William H. Billings, Jr. '44, Office of Institutional Advancement, 615 S. Main St., Geneva, NY, 14456 or Beverly Animal Shelter, 50 E. River St., Waterloo, NY, 13165. Pat was born Oct. 20, 1924, in Brooklyn, the daughter of George and Sarah Connellan Lamy. She began working with Johns –Manville in Manhattan, NYC, NY. After marrying her husband and moving to the Finger Lakes, she was employed at Sampson Air Force Base, then was employed at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, until the births of her children. Pat was a member of Ladies Home Bureau. She was interested in gardening, arts and crafts, plus baked and decorated wedding cakes and birthday cakes. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Terry) Powell of Wolcott and Laurie B. Billings of Waterloo; son, William H. (Janice Creamer) Billings, III of Waterloo; and several nieces and nephews.
