WATERLOO– Elizabeth S. Velte, 86, died Tuesday (November 22,2016) at Seneca Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Waterloo. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday (November 30), at St. Mary's Cemetery in Waterloo, N.Y. The Rev. James Fennessy, pastor will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St.Frances/St. Clare Church, 25 Center St. Waterloo, NY, 13165 or to Beverly's Animal Shelter, 50 E. River St., Waterloo, NY 13165. Elizabeth was born October 8, 1930, in Seneca Falls, the daughter of Ralph and Elizabeth Calarco Sinicropi. She was an office clerk for Sylvania and Seneca Machine in Seneca Falls. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a member of Seneca Sports Car Club. Elizabeth is survived by her sons John (Peggy Eno) Velte of Waterloo, James B. (Sharon) Velte of Waterloo, and Jeffrey L. (Sue) Velte of Auburn; granddaughters Marcy (John) Purcell and Stephanie Velte; brother, Ralph (Lois) Sinicropi; sister, Laura Rowell and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Roland; brothers Joe, Don, and Jim Sinicropi; sisters Rose, Mary, and Margaret Sinicropi. Condolences for the family may be sent to www.coegenungfuneralhome.com.
