Obituary of Michael Wayne Conger

East Williamson – Michael W. Conger, 61, 6405 E. Townline Rd., died Monday (October 31, 2016) in Newark Hospital. Friends may call 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday (Nov. 4) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home, 46 W. Main St., Waterloo, NY. The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 5) at the funeral home. Rev. Donald Kennedy, retired pastor of Lake Country Church in Waterloo, will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo. Mike was born March 5, 1955 in Ogdensburg, the son of Myron and Mildred Ashley Conger. He was a graduate of Ogdensburg Free Academy. He was formerly employed with Sentry Group in E. Rochester. He is survived by wife of 38 years, Sally J. Conger; son, James R. (Leah M.) Conger of Waterloo; daughter, Brittani (fiancé, Thomas Powell) Conger of E. Williamson; grandchildren, Isaiah Cottman, Hunter Conger, Michael D. LaJoy, Collin Knight, and expecting Ronan Michael Powell in January; brother, James (Sandra) Conger of Farmington; and cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son, Scott M.
