Obituary of John Frederick Froschauer

SENECA FALLS – John F. Froschauer, Jr., 58, of 47 Pleasant Street, died Friday (August 5, 2016) at his home, with his loving family by his side. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday (August 8) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo. The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday (August 9) at the funeral home. Rev. Kevin Grish, pastor of Tyre United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo. Box 22718, Oklahoma, City, OK, 73123-1718. John was born June 22, 1958, the son of John F. Sr., and Lodine S. Finley Froschauer. He was a 1976 graduate of Mynderse Academy in Seneca Falls. John was employed with Mynderse Academy as a custodian, retiring after 37 years of service. He was a member of the Tyre United Methodist Church. John is survived by his wife of 36 years, Betty "BJ" Reed Froschauer; step-daughter, Dawn (Steven) Valente of Canandaigua; step-son, Christopher French of Farmington; two grandsons Dean and Roman; sisters Lillian Balliette of Waterloo and Margaret "Meg" (Larry) Spaeth of Enid, Okla.; nephews Jason (Aimee) Garrett, Larry (Anna) Garrett, and David (Jennifer) Balliette; many great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his parents John F. Froschauer, Sr., in 1972 and Lodine S. Desbrough in 2007; stepfather, James F.
