Seneca Falls/ Waterloo- Rolland R. Barto, 56, of Seneca Falls, formerly of Waterloo, died Wednesday (March 25, 2015) at Seneca Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Waterloo, with his loving family by his side.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.on Sunday (March 29) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday (March 30) at the funeral home. Rev. Phil Tennies, will officiate. Burial will be in Fayette Rural Cemetery in Fayette.

Rolland was born October 7, 1958 in Waterloo, the son of Richard R. and Dorothy Coffin Barto. He began employment with Sylvania, working there for many years, until the company closed the plant in Seneca Falls. Rollie then was employed with Pike from Rochester, as a construction worker, for over 10 years. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Rollie was an avid fisherman and hunter.
He is survived by by his daughter, Amie Barto of Summerville, S. C.; son, Christopher Barto of Hilo, HI; grandchildren, Trevon and Jay Flood; mother, Dorothy Coffin, of Waterloo; brothers, Bruce (Noelle) Barto of Waterloo, Dale (Laura) Barto of Cayuga, Judge Roger (Cindy) Barto and Jeffrey (Sue) Coffin both of Waterloo, Romaine Barto of Denver, CO; sisters, Maureen Barto-Castle of Seneca Falls and Carolyn (Albert) Barto Walker of Raleigh, NC; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and special nephew, James Middeke and many other nieces and nephews.
Rolland was predeceased by his father; brothers, Johnny Barto, Richard D. Barto, James A. Middeke, and Harold Baker.
