Geneva - Robin A. Acquilano-D'Amico, 52, of Geneva, passed away Monday (February 2, 2015) at Geneva General Hospital in Geneva.
There will be no calling hours. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday (Feb. 6) at The Assembly of God Church in Geneva, PreEmption Rd. Dale Andrews, pastor of the church, will officiate. Spring burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo.

Robin was born June 18, 1962 in Geneva, the daughter of Gary G. Robinson and Sandra L. Bates. She was a graduate of Waterloo High School. Robin graduated from FLCC earning her LPN. She was employed over the years of her nursing career with Geneva General Hospital, Border City School, Waterloo Central School, Clifton Springs FLACRA, and YMCA Camp Cory in Penn Yan. Robin was a Volunteer for Finger Lakes Family Counseling Service Domestic Violence Program. She received Woman of the Year for having over 1200 hours of volunteer service for Finger Lakes Family Counseling Service. Robin was a member and secretary of the Serven Volunteer Fire Dept. earning the distinction of being the first woman for the department to be a fire woman. She also was a member of the women's auxiliary for the fire department. Robin was member of the The Assembly of God Church in Geneva. Based on the book by Annie Freeman, The Traveling Funeral, everyone wore red converse sneakers and wore t-shirts with the slogan, Fight Like a Girl, at a benefit held for Robin in November of 2014. Robin's life can be described as an avid caregiver.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel D'Amico; children, Nicole (Michael Cohrs) Acquilano of Waterloo, Chad D'Amico of Geneva, Jonathan D'Amico, of Geneva, Toni Ann D'Amico of Canandaigua, Nicholas D'Amico of Geneva, Patrick D'Amico of Clifton Springs; grandchildren, Cailee Natalie D'Amico and Chloe D'Amico; siblings, Tina (Fred) Murray of Waterloo, Brenda (Michael) Hurrin of Seneca Castle, Melissa (Timothy) Jensen of Waterloo, Jeremy Robinson of Brandon, FL and Brandon Robinson of Geneva; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Robin was predeceased by mother, Sandra L. Klock and step-father Lenard Klock.
