Waterloo - Lucille M. Kelly VanNostrand, 87, of 2775 Rt. 96 South, died Tuesday (November 25, 2014) at Geneva General Hospital in Geneva, with her loving family by her side. In keeping with Lucille's wishes there will be no calling hours. The memorial service will be announced at a later date. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Elks Club Auxiliary 992, P.O. Box 43, Seneca Falls, NY, 13148 or Taylor Brown Auxiliary, 369 E. Main St., Waterloo,NY, 13165. Lucille was born Nov. 1, 1927 in Seneca Falls, the daughter of John J. and Helen M. Sharp Kelly. She was a 1947 graduate of Waterloo High School. Lucille was employed at Waterloo Central School for 30 years. She was a member of Waterloo Sportsmen Club Auxiliary, Waterloo Lionettes, Seneca Falls Elks Auxiliary 992, and Taylor-Brown Auxiliary. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She is survived by sons, David "Jay" (Jean) VanNostrand of Boulder, CO, Clayton (Deborah) VanNostrand and Thomas VanNostrand both of Waterloo; grandchildren, Shawn, Scott, Corinne, and Lindsay VanNostrand, Kelly (Matt) Valenti, Matthew (Stephanie) VanNostrand, Brent Doyle and Crystal Doyle; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Lucille was predeceased by by her husband of 63 years, William O. VanNostrand in 2013, nine sisters, and one brother. Condolences for the family may be sent to www.coegenungfuneralhome.com.
