Obituary of Gertrude Scott

Waterloo - Gertrude M. Scott, 87, died Wednesday (October 24, 2012) at Seneca Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Waterloo.
There will be no calling hours. The graveside service will be 10 a.m. Monday (Oct. 29) at Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo. Rev. Ellen Donnan, pastor of Junius Presbyterian Church, will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beverly Animal Shelter, 50 E. River St., Waterloo, 13165.
Gertrude was born December 14, 1924 in Waterloo, the daughter of Levi and LillieBelle Marshall Scott. Gertrude attended Waterloo High School. She retired after many years of employment with Waterloo Memorial Hospital and later, Taylor-Brown Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by her friend, Rose Rathbone, of Waterloo.
Arrangements are entrusted to Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo.
