Obituary of Ella Crow

Waterloo - Ella Janice Crow, 83, of Waterloo, died Tuesday (September 2, 2014) at Huntington Living Center in Waterloo.
Friends may call 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday (Sept. 5) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo. The memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday (Sept. 6) at the funeral home. The cremains of William E. Crow and Janice will be interred together in Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 1120 Goodman St., Rochester, NY, 14620.
Janice was born Oct. 17, 1930 in Lysander, the daughter of Nathaniel S. and Leta J. Baird Cole. Janice was a graduate of Cato-Meridan High School. She was employed with Sampson Naval Base and later, with Maxwell Bowdin & Rice in Geneva. After having her family, she was employed with the Geneva City School District and later retired from Waterloo School. Janice was a member of the ladies auxillies for Waterloo Memorial Post 6433,V.F.W. Auxiliary and Warner Van Riper Post 435, American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her son, William S. (Karen) Crow of Canandaigua; daughters, Pamela Sessler and Michelle (Larry) Warne of Waterloo and Mary Knight of Geneva; grandchildren, Daniel (Lisa) Sessler, Brian (Megan) Sessler, Jeffrey (Samantha) Sessler, Kevin Sessler, Elizabeth Knight, Sara (Douglas) Urquhart, Joseph Knight, David Knight, Brittany Warne, William R. Crow; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Harold (Jeannie) Cole of Fulton; sisters, Rachel Morton of Fulton and Sharon (Dave) Criss of Syracuse; and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband, William E. Crow; granddaughter, Amanda Crow; and sister, Marie Cole.
