Waterloo - Eileen B. Hauf, 87, of 56 Inslee St., died Tuesday (August 5, 2014) at Seneca Nursing And Rehabilitation Center in Waterloo, with her loving family .
Friends may call 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday (Aug. 7) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo. The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday (Aug. 8) at Calvary Lutheran Church, 2414 N. Rt. 414, Waterloo. Rev. William Dorow, Jr., pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo.

Eileen was born May 20, 1927 in Covert, the daughter of Floyd T. and Arlene Ritchie Williamson. She attended Waterloo High School. Her first job was working for Waterloo Wagon Works which manufactured Woody automobiles. Leaving employment from Waterloo Wagon Works to work for F. W. Woolworth Co. in Geneva then Seneca Falls for twenty years. Then she was employed at Bush's Grocery in Waterloo for about 20 years. During retirement she very much enjoyed being involved with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Eileen was a member of Waterloo Memorial Post 6433, V.F.W. Auxiliary. She was member of Zion Lutheran Church, later, transferring her membership to Calvary Lutheran Church in Waterloo. While a member of Calvary Lutheran Church she was an active member of the Altar Guild.
She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, as of July 27, 2014, Bernard Hauf; daughter, bonnie Ehler of Melbourne, FL; son, Bernard (Sandy) Hauf, Jr. of Ovid; granchildren, Theresa Erwin, Yvonne (Tom) Baley, Jeff (Carol) Hauf, George, II (Jessica) Mull, and Kim Tuck; great-grandchildren, Amber (Caleb) Schussler, Brian Mull, Tyler Jones, Abigail Hauf, and Jonah; sisters, Helen Wantke of Rochester and Zeffa Ferro of Auburn; sister-in-law, Shirley Williamson of Braintree, Mass.; brother, David (Mary) Williamson of Waterloo; and brother-in-law, Fred Kemp of Corning, and many nieces and nephews.
Eileen was predeceased by sisters, Leona McCarthy, Marge Libby, Louise Kemp, and Dorothy Buck; and brother, Charles Williamson.
