During W. W. II she was employed at Seneca Machine Shop. She was employed, for a number of years, as an x-ray technician at Lyons Hospital and Newark-Wayne Hospital. She also owned and operated the Open Hearth Restaurant in Seneca Falls, The Hearthside, and the Homestyle Restaurant in Waterloo.
