Obituary of Mabel Bishop

Waterloo - Mabel Bishop, 70, of 85 Church St., died Thursday (April 10, 2014) at Clifton Springs Hospital with her family by her side. Friends may call 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Monday (April 14) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo. The funeral service will be 3 p.m. Monday (April 14) at the funeral home. will officiate. Spring burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to MECP2, 67 Under Cliff Rd., Trumbull, CT, 06611. Mabel was born Dec. 19, 1943 in Geneva, the daughter of Charles and Mildred Daggett Andrews. She spent her life as a caregiver at her home caring for elderly people and at various nursing homes. Later, retiring from the Finger Lakes DDSO. She is survived by husband of 46 years, Robert Bishop, Sr.; sons, Preston Wheeler, Curtis (Brenda) Wheeler, Jason (Amanda) Bishop, Andy Bishop and Robert Bishop, Jr.; daughters, Penny Wheeler, Candee (Scott) Campfield, Tammy Bishop, Cindy Bishop, and Kay Griffith; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; John (Carol) Andrews, Nelson Andrews, Ronald (Joyce) Andrews, Arthur Andrews, David (Bonnie) Andrews, Lylea (Blair Dursham) Randall and April (Michael) VanDuesen and many nieces and nephews.
