Waterloo - William E. Crow, 79, died Monday (February 17, 2014) at Huntington Living Center in Waterloo.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday (Feb. 20) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo. Military rites will be 7 p.m Thursday (Feb. 20) at the funeral home by members of Waterloo Memorial Post 6433, V.F.W. and Warner VanRiper Post 435, American Legion. The memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday (Feb. 21) at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 435 E. Henrietta Rd. Rochester, NY, 14620.
Bill was born March 5, 1934 in Buffalo, the son of William A. and Frances W. Ackerson Crow. He was a graduate of Geneva High School. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. Bill was formerly employed with Canandaigua V.A. Medical Center, Geneva Pennysaver, Sylvania, Seneca Army Depot, and Seneca-Cayuga ARC. He was a member of Waterloo Memorial Post 6433, V. F.W. and Warner VanRiper Post 435, American Legion.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, E. Janice Crow; son, William S. (Karen) Crow of Canandaigua; daughters, Pamela A. Sessler and Michelle (Larry) Warne both of Waterloo, and Mary Knight of Geneva, grandchildren, Daniel (Lisa) Sessler, Brian (Megan) Sessler, Jeffrey (Fiancee, Samantha LaGas)Sessler, Kevin Sessler, Elizabeth Knight, Sara (Douglas) Urquhart, Joseph Knight, David Knight, Brittany Warne, and William R. Crow; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one granddaughter, Amanda Crow.
